The City of Metter has one City Building Official. The Building Official administers the Metter City Zoning Ordinance, Subdivision Ordinance, Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control Ordinance, Land Use Ordinance, Flood Ordinance, Nuisance Control Ordinance, Property Maintenance Ordinance and issues building permits. This person conducts building inspections, and Code Enforcement of the Zoning Ordinance, Nuisance Ordinance and the Property Maintenance Ordinance.
