NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
Public Hearings will be held at Metter City Hall, located at 49 South Rountree Street, at 5:30 pm on Monday, April 13, 2026, and 5:30 pm on Monday May 11, 2026, in accordance with zoning and public hearing procedures of the City of Metter, the State of Georgia and the City of Metter Zoning Ordinance, to consider amending Appendix A of the City of Metter’s Municipal Code by adopting a Zoning Ordinance.
The purpose of the meetings is to hear public comments for or against amending Appendix A by adopting a Zoning Ordinance. Ample opportunity to be heard will be given to any citizen and all parties who are interested in attending the hearing.
The Mayor and City Council of the City of Metter will act for or against the proposed Amendment to Appendix A pursuant to the City of Metter Municipal Code.
