The City of Metter would like to inform residents that disaster recovery assistance remains available for individuals and families impacted by Hurricane Helene.
The Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA), in partnership with HEARTS Georgia’s Disaster Case Management Program, provides personalized support to help disaster survivors navigate the recovery process. Disaster Case Managers work directly with households to identify unmet recovery needs, connect them with available resources, and develop a plan to support long-term recovery.
Residents who are still experiencing challenges related to Hurricane Helene are encouraged to take advantage of this program.
