The City of Metter will hold a First Reading on Monday, October 12, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. and a Public Hearing on Monday, November 9, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. regarding a proposed amendment to the Official Zoning Map.
The request involves approximately 24.97 acres on Fortner Road, between W. Lytell Street and W. Hiawatha Street, proposed to be rezoned from R-4 (Multifamily Residential) to L-I (Light Industrial) for the purpose of adding the property to the Industrial Park.
Both meetings will be held at Metter City Hall, 49 S. Rountree Street.
